The ARM Electronics CX580MDVAIVPDNIR is a high resolution color CCTV camera equipped with a Sony ExView HAD CCD. Through the use of a highly efficient photo-to-electron conversion process, ExView technology is able to improve the CCD's sensitivity to light by a factor of two for visible light and a factor of four for near-infrared wavelengths. The result is markedly brighter video images as well as a significant improvement in contrast.
