AVE UTP-1500 Passive Transmitter/Receiver Set

The AVE TwistPlex of UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) adapters bring the ease of using structured CAT 3,4,5,6 for tranmission of video signals. The UTP-1500 passive device transmits and receives up to 2000 ft (500m) of full color video with CAT5 or better. The unique design allows for single handed installation with the use of push cage clamp terminals eliminating cumbersome mini screwdrivers. The small size allows for connection directly on the rear of the camera and is only slightly larger than TwistOn BNC connectors. When extended range is required the use of the active Transmitter of the Active Receiver can reach up to 3000 ft or 1 km with full color. The VECA or VECA UTP can pre compensate for video levels and color enhancement on the transmitting side. The Active Receiver recovers color information and with the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) circuitry, constantly compensates for proper video levels due to unpredictable UTP wiring losses or camera changes without user adjustment.
