The camera has a 3-9mm varifocal lens and offers a 2x digital zoom for magnifying objects of interest for closer observation. Featuring a night-saver mode to improve performance in low-light situations, the ADCDW0309TU camera automatically switches from color to B&W as light dims, and reverts to color once light is restored. The DVR-saver mode reduces file sizes by up to 30% when used with an Intellex digital video management system. A pixel-by-pixel shutter speed allows you to view pictures even in extreme lighting environments marked by high-contrast or harsh backlit scenes. The Discover Indoor/Outdoor WDR Camera features an advanced pivoting 3-axis gimbal that allows you to point the camera at a required angle, thereby offering greater viewing flexibility. Made of durable composite and polycarbonate materials, the vandal-resistant housing can withstand extreme weather conditions and also has a shape memory that can retain its shape even after a forceful impact.
