GAI-Tronics 354-001YL NEMA 4X Yellow Analog Rugged Telephone is perfectly suited for areas considered too harsh for a standard telephone. The telephone is completely line powered. The rugged, noise-cancelling, hearing aid-compatible handset includes a 6-foot (extended) Hytrel coiled cord that retains its coil memory better than any other material available. The sealed, metal keypad is additionally protected by a rubber boot that has a Braille reference. The non-metallic enclosure is available in th ree colors and the stainless steel front panel, stainless steel hardware, and the conformal-coated electronics provide a superior resistance to corrosion. Although the Model 354-001 Series Telephone is equipped with an electronic ringer, the ambient no ise level may dictate a louder ring or a visual ring signal. A Ring Detect Relay option (part# 12565-009) is available to control a peripheral sounder or strobe for ring notification in a high noise environment.
