The SIP-3020-5 is a 100' x 65' superior intelligent PIR detector from Optex which is ideally designed with advanced features to enhance an application to provide additional safety and security. The SIP-3020-5 PIR detector comes with advanced detection algorithm, 3 Pyro-Elements w/ double conductive shielding, reinforced polycarbonate housing, a 30 x 20m coverage range, as well as adjustable alarm interval times, and anti-masking w/ photo-beam. The SIP-3020-5 PIR detector also features ambient temperature and luminance detection for sensitivity management, a sensitivity selector, a detection range selector, anti-rotation w/ a 3 axis accelerometer, plus a detection logic selector, and a durable and rugged construction. This professional PIR detector is able to provide resistance against unwanted false alarms, and provides easy mounting into most areas to help offer proper coverage over an area.

The SIP-3020/5 is designed for mid-range outdoor detection applications to trigger video transmission systems and PTZ camera control.The detector has an intelligent detection system that uses data from the ambient environment, such as temperature and illuminance conditions, to automatically adjust the sensitivity. It is also equipped with anti-rotation and anti-masking functions, which can detect vandalism or tampering with the unit. The SIP-3020/5 has an additional PIR detector on the bottom to cover the area just below the unit. The PIR detector on the bottom has an independent output separate from the main detector, while the detection angle in the main area of the SIP-3020/5 can be adjusted to easily match a camera's field of view.
