The Veracity Highwire Quad combines a Highwire Ethernet-over-coax converter - allowing network data and power to be sent across coaxial cable - with a Power over Ethernet switch, allowing multiple IP cameras to be powered and connected over existing coax cabling. This makes the device ideal for locations where equipment is being upgraded from analog to IP surveillance, making use of existing cable infrastructures with minimal upgrade cost for cabling infrastructure. Like the standard Highwire product, the Highwire Quad supports long cable lengths, with up to 1000ft possible on low-grade cabling. Up to 30W of power is available for connected hardware, ideal for four class 2 or two class 3 PoE powered IP cameras. Please note: This unit is designed to be used with a Veracity Highwire Ethernet over Coax converter. Additionally, no power supply is included. Please select one from the options above if required.
