Siemon's Cat 6A UTP cable provides channel performance exceeding TIA and ISO/IEC 6A requirements when used with Z-MAX 6A UTP connectivity. Two versions of 6A UTP cable are available - a traditional UTP construction and the Gap Technology (GT) design. the traditional design uses a cross separator for optimal pair-to-pair cross-talk isolation as well as Internal Longitudinal Striation (ILS) jacket construction to reduce alien crosstalk (AXT) coupling between adjacent cables. the GT cable features a discontinuous foil construction which enables a typical UTP installation process and smaller cable diameter while providing improved heat dissipation and virtually zero alien crosstalk. These properties make this cable ideal for supporting applications using both remote powering and 10Gbps application speeds such as IEEE 802.11ac or IEEE 802.11ax wireless access points or other high speed emerging or converging IP building automation technologies.
