Description
The No Polish Connector (NPC) enable fast, on-site installation of kink proof, 1.6 to 3 mm cable with bend insensitive, single mode fiber. The SC PC and SC APC compatible connectors consist of a factory-polished ferrule assembly and a mechanical splice that is installed without installation tools. A screw on boot retains the aramid fiber in the threads and it clamps the cable jacket by squeezing the jacket holder. Both connectors utilize standard, flat cleaves for the splice. Systems integrators and installers for communication companies and private networks will find this connector to be the easiest way to make field terminations that improve the cable management inside buildings or in the outside plant.
