• Use the Wireless Handheld Reader system to quickly set up an entrance or checkpoint, with trucks or aboard buses, for mustering & rapid disaster deployment, as well as random challenges and staff enrollment verification.
• When a credential is read by the Handheld Reader, the credential data is wirelessly sent to the Reader’s Base Unit, which is hard-wired to a Wiegand port on the control panel. The control panel verifies whether a credential is valid and sends verification to the Reader. Since the system interfaces with the customer’s existing database, credential data remains up to d ate.
• The HHR-3158 Reader Unit is equipped with a gate-selection feature.The Reader Unit also controls a relay function, such as triggering an alarm or controlling a door or gate.
