Description
The KR 6/8 tool has been specially developed for reliably applying HellermannTyton cable ties of the KR series. In separate operations the cable tie is tensioned, fixed and then cut off directly at the head. The tool can be quickly adapted to deal with different tie widths (6 mm and 8 mm) simply by exchanging the front plate.
The glass-fibre-reinforced locking pin of the KR seal is mechanically crimped and leads to plastic deformation of the tie ends. This produces a vibration-proof permanent connec tion.
