Designed for mid to high-end commercial environments where a PIR andmicrowave radar sensor may be required, the new Honeywell DT8050AF24 orDT8050AF24-SN anti-mask motion sensor, or the DT8050F24 Dual Tec motionsensor without anti-mask, deliver reliable protection with improved false alarmimmunity through patented solutions. It includes DualCore™ signal processingwhich is ideal for areas that are difficult to protect with standard products andintegrates a total of five patented solutions to improve reliability and installation.
Engineered for effortless installation, installers will appreciate the sensor’sdesign which allows easy access to the connectors with its quick plug-in featureand mounting screws conveniently secured inside the detector rear housing.These motion sensors also offer integrated EOL resistors and an enhanced walktest feature further saving time on installation. With the DT8050AF24/DT8050AF24-SN/DT8050F24, optimum performance isachieved using K-Band microwave technology and Uniform Sensitivity Optics.

- Grade 2 and 3 intrusion motion detection sensors (DT8012 and DT8016 serues) have both Passive Infrared (PIR) and 24Ghz Radar/Microwave technology to precisely detect motion and reduce false alarms – required to comply with EU insurance regulations
- The new 24Ghz K-band radar allows the DT24G family to detect even slight movements with more precision than other motion detectors utilizing 10Ghz X-Band radar, while reducing unwanted overpenetration of the radar signal
- 24Ghz radar has worldwide frequency approval, making the Dual Tec 24G series of motion sensors suitable for installation in just about any project, in any jurisdiction
