KT-4 encrypted 4-door controller using entrapass can be configured in two user-friendly operational modes. KT-4's standalone mode offers basic door security using a simple web browser without the need to connect to a host system. Alternatively, KT-4 can be used with the powerful entrapass security management software to provide more advanced and fully integrated access control features. The KT-4 four-door controller is a cyber-resilient and easy-to-use networked access control solution with support for up to eight ioprox XSF and iosmart readers/cards (4 doors IN/OUT control) combining with entrapass security management to create a highly scalable solution deployable over multiple locations. The KT-4 has an on-board ethernet port that connects to existing network infrastructure and leverages the benefits of IP-based systems with a 128-AES encryption with entrapass. Once connected the controller only communicates with that instance of entrapass. Optionally add WI-FI to the KT-4 to be able to secure doors further where ethernet is not available. Furthermore, the optional poe module provides poe/poe+ /poe++ power for the KT-4 powering the readers and locks.
