EST Portable Fire Alarm Telephone Handsets and Wall Receptacles allow the fire fighters to communicate with the fire command center. They can be used by themselves or in addition to permanently installed fire fighter telephones throughout a building. Refer to literature sheet numbers 85001-0173 and 85001-0177 for details on EST 6702 series Permanent Telephone Stations. The portable handsets plug-in to the strategically located and permanently installed receptacles throughout the building. Plugging in a portable telephone handset causes a “call-in’ buzzer to sound, lights a “call-in” lamp, and lights an individual zone lamp in zoned systems, at the command center.
