- Nickel-plated brass pins provide extracorrosion resistance without sacrificing electrical conductivity.
- Locking ring with an integral neoprene gasket provides watertight seal when plug and connector/receptacle are mated.
- Natural-rubber grommets provide watertight protection at cable entry.
