Leviton 42777-1IA | Surface-Mount Back Box, Single Gang, 1.89" Box Depth, Ivory

I had no trouble attaching it to the wall. I used a toggle bolt through one of the holes in the back. I can imagine other fasteners could be used for any type of wall. The size and configuration for all of the screws was correct. The construction was very well done, the finish/paint covered well. The threads were all in good condition and made correctly from the factory.

This product is expertly crafted and easy to install. I had the pleasure of using it as an emergency shutoff switch in my workshop and it performed superbly. The back plate easily attaches to the wall while the box securely snaps onto the back plate. I highly recommend this box for anyone in need of surface mounting a light switch as it boasts numerous mounting holes and is perfectly sized for standard size switch covers.
