Optex SIP-404-5 | 130' x 13' Superior Intelligent PIR detector

The SIP-404-5 is a superior intelligent 130'x 13' PIR detector from Optex which is specially designed to provide high quality working operation within medium to small applications where CCTV setups may exist. The SIP-404-5 PIR detector comes with rotation, anti-masking, an adjustable creep zone, as well as advanced detection algorithm, and adjustable alarm interval times. The SIP-404-5 PIR detector also features a 40 x 4m coverage, ambient temperature and luminance detection, a detection logic selector, a detection range selector, 3 Pyro-elements w/ double conductive shielding, plus a reinforced polycarbonate housing, a sensitivity selector, and independent outputs. This professional intelligent PIR detector is able to offer advanced operation, and can offer resistance against false alarm triggers when non-essential objects enter the vicinity.

The SIP-404/5 is designed for mid-range outdoor detection applications to trigger video transmission systems and PTZ camera control.The detector has an intelligent detection system that uses data from the ambient environment, such as temperature and illuminance conditions, to automatically adjust the sensitivity. It is also equipped with anti-rotation and anti-masking functions, which can detect vandalism or tampering with the unit. The SIP-404/5 has an additional PIR detector on the bottom to cover the area just below the unit. The PIR detector on the bottom has an independent output separate from the main detector, while the detection angle in the main area of the SIP-404/5 can be adjusted to easily match a camera's field of view.
