The break-away adapter is constructed of Cat 6A 26 AWG UTP, twisted pair stranded copper cable, a high performance RJ45 modular plug, and a releasable RJ45 modular jack. The cable is CM rated. The adapter is optimized for use with Panduit Patch Cords. This break-away adapter is an easy-release jack and plug assembly that allows any standard patch cord to detach upon a sudden pulling force. The adapter cord is 8 inches in length and black.
