Description
Fasteners for wire harnesses shall provide fifty pounds of pull-out force with no more than 45 deg maximum rotation of the installed bundle. When installed in the panel, the fastening method shall firmly retain a minimum wire gauge of 12 AWG within +/- 10mm (0.394 in) of the initial installation point. The mounts shall require no more than 9 to 14 lb of insertion force. Mounts shall be self-tensioning to prevent rattles and degradation of the mount over the life of the application. The material for the mounts and the cable ties shall be black, weather-resistant nylon 6.6. Application temperature range shall be -60 to +85 deg C (-76 to +185 deg F).
