The Schlage M490DE is designed specifically for delayed egress applications and meets NFPA 101 life safety code. The M490DE has a 15 s delayed egress timer with audible alarm which can be configured to trigger by an internal plunger switch or by external contacts such as a request-to-exit push bar. Standard features include automatic voltage selection, field-selectable handing, internal plunger switch and bayonet mounting bracket for easy hands-free installation. The "Plus" Model adds intelligent sensing and reporting features needed for integration with access control systems.
