Description
Siemon offers a selection of modular plugs for patching, work area applications and cabling to end devices. Modular plugs can be terminated to exact cable length to maintain a neater and more organized installation. All plug contacts have 50µin. minimum of gold plating over nickel and meet TIA-1096 and IEC 60603-7 specifications. All plugs are compatible with Siemon PT-908 crimp tool. Our patented "universal" modular plug eliminates the need to stock more than one size modular plug. The UP-2468 permits field-termination of modular cords in 2-, 3-, or 4-pair increments and terminates twisted pair cable with 26 to 22 AWG (0.4 to 0.64mm) solid or 7-strand conductors with insulated conductor diameter of 0.86 to 0.99mm (0.034 to 0.039 in.).
