The high-performance PCE-1G-02-NIC connects to your desktop computer’s motherboard and adds two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports via an available four-lane PCI Express (PCIe) slot. Based on the bridgeless Intel I350 controller, this adapter is a 1 Gbps networking innovation for enterprise and data center applications. Add multiple Ethernet ports to dual-homed proxy or gateway systems for added security and redundant connectivity for uninterrupted network connections.
This PCIe network interface card (NIC) is ideal for Virtual Machine (VM) environments with multiple operating systems that require shared or dedicated NICs. It also is a valuable addition to desktop PC servers and workstations with few PCIe slots available in which turning one RJ45 port into two is beneficial.
