It works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android and Linux. The adapter can also extend dual video outputs through a USB-A port on a laptop with the use of a U SB-C to USB-A adapter (sold separately).

Note: The host device must be able to download and install the Synaptics DisplayLink driver compatible with the host’s operating system. It is recommended that the host PC have administrator access to ensure he drivers install correctly when first connecting the adapter to the host.
